About Us;

There is no better companion or flexible working dog than a German Shepherd.  We've been breeding German Shepherds since 1990 and strive to give our German Shepherds a loving family environment in a natural country setting.  

All our German Shepherds are valued family members.  Our personal limit is one litter per year for each female.  This too is only if they are not busy with training or Trials.   

Our goal in breeding is to improve the breed by producing quality German Shepherd puppies who will be loyal companions, able to work and to be protective friends.  Also to be mentally healthy, physically sound, intelligent and have lots of character, personality and heart.

Our working/breeding adults are selected on the quality of their bloodlines, their ability to work and healthy background.  They are instinctively protective without being aggressive. 

Our breeding German Shepherds are Xrayed (pen-hipp or OFA) before they are bred.  We feed a good quality food that contains meat.  We add some of these ingedients to their meals a few times a week:  Sardines, Flax Seed, Olive Oil, eggs, Dry Cottage Cheese, and Plain Yogurt.  We also visit the butcher often and return with meaty bones.  (no Pork)

Our German Shepherd puppies are born in the house and handled from birth.  They will be moved to a heated barn or heated houses, depending on the season, then to an outside kennel as they grow.

We register all our German Shepherd puppies through the CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) with a non-breeding contract (removable).  They will be tattooed in the left ear or Microchipped and will have their first inoculations between 6 and 7 weeks of age.  They will be dewormed at least once and possibly twice.  All puppies will come with 6 weeks of pet insurance from date of possession courtesy of Pet Plan and a Puppy Starter Kit.  

We also encourage new puppy owners to enroll in Puppy Obedience Classes and Adult Obedience Classes.  Socializing and manners are very important. 
We often have adults to rehome.
